Silvia L. Chestnut Evans, CPA

FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT

Silvia has been working with individuals and small business owners as a private financial manager for over ten years. As a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, she has worked with all of the versions of QuickBooks, and can help you get the most out of your accounting software.

Silvia holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Saint Leo University, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration Finance from the University of Florida.

When she’s not managing her own accounting firm, she is actively involved in the Palm Beach community, serving on the board of the Milagro Center and Palm Beach Flagler Rotary Club. She is also an Alumni of Leadership Palm Beach County, Class of 2014.

Joshua Nelson

senior MANAGER OF CLIENT ACCOUNTING SERVICES

Joshua has been working with Palm Beach Accounting and Financial Services LLC for seven years. He has studied Chemical Engineering at the Florida Institute of Technology and holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University. He is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and preparing to sit for the CPA license this fall.

Joshua is an alumnus of the Leadership Palm Beach County Focus Class of 2019 and serves as treasurer of the Lake Worth Beach Rotary Club. In his spare time, Joshua enjoys watching Rugby and trying out new recipes.

Roy Schunter

Senior Accountant, Tax and Payroll

Roy Schunter joined the accounting team at Palm Beach Accounting and Financial Services as an Accounting Manager in October 2013. Roy is originally from Flint, Michigan and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Central Michigan University. As a Registered Tax Return Preparer, Roy brings over thirty-five years of accounting experience, which includes QuickBooks and Sage accounting software.

Roy is an avid sports fan and serves as the office encyclopedia for sports statistics!

Roger T. Presas, CPA

SPECIALIZED CONSULTANT

Roger has over thirty years of experience providing independent business management and consulting services to private, public, and professional enterprises with primary emphasis on technology solutions.  Roger supervises the work of Palm Beach Accounting and Financial Services and provides advisory consulting services to our clients.

Roger loves to cook and travel. His favorite country to visit is Spain.

Alexa Evans

Communication Manager

Alexa has been with Palm Beach Accounting and Financial Services for over 10 years. She provides marketing support, managing PBAFS’s digital marketing and public relations needs. Alexa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Eckerd College. She is the founder of Untrendy, LLC, a marketing and public relations firm. She has served on Eckerd College’s Alumni Leadership Council, and on multiple class reunion committees.

In her spare time, Alexa enjoys reading, dancing and traveling.

Taylor Verni

Office Manager, administrative assistant

Taylor joined PBAFS in August 2022 as the Administrative Assistant and Office Manager. She's the first point of contact for many of our customers and also ensures that internal operations are running smoothly. Taylor studied at Florida Gulf Coast University and holds the Karbon Expert Certification.

She enjoys working with the tight-knit group at PBAFS and in her spare time, loves going to Orange Theory, spending time with her three dogs, and learning to speak Italian with her sisters.

ALDRIN MAE R. PASCUAL

Accountant

Aldrin joined PBAFS in September 2022! She holds a BS in Accountancy and is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She loves the fast-paced nature of the cloud-based accounting world, especially when it comes to the development and implementation of new technologies.

In her spare time, she enjoys watching Korean movies and spending time with friends and family!

Roxanne F Reyes

Accountant

Roxanne joined our team in April 2023, with previous experience as a Branch Accountant, preparing Financial Statements, daily reports, payroll, and more. She graduated with a BS in Accountancy in 2016, and takes great pride in finishing her tasks ahead of time.

When she's not crunching numbers, Roxanne has enjoyed Latin dancing since her high school days and spending time with children!

Elizbeth Joseph

Accountant

Elizbeth Joseph joined our team as an Accountant in April 2023. She holds an Associate’s degree from Palm Beach State College and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s in Accounting at FAU. For Elizbeth, the most rewarding part of the job is building relationships with her customers.

When she’s not on the clock, Elizbeth loves taking her children on reading adventures in a new park each month and keeping up with Soccer, Basketball, and Football.
